5. Penny Dreadful
It was lackluster compared to last season, but I still loved the bit with Dorian. We got to see a little slice of the vapid evilness that lies beneath that dandy facade, and I loved it.
4. Orange Is The New Black
Now that some of the focus has been taken off of Piper, who I find more and more boring with her duplicity, we get to see some of the nitty gritty and honest stories of some of the people we have hated since the show's inception. I loved Pennsatucky's story this season. People are never black and white in character, this show likes to remind us of that, and frequently.
I loved it, in the way you love to eat Ben and Jerry's when you should really be working on your diet. You have to watch it to get what I 'm saying.
2. Mr Robot
Hello, modern day Robin Hood hacker boy. Surprising and predictable, but still a grand ride, it has pretty much everything, if you have a thing for the eighties and cyber crime.
This was my Faaaaaaavorite of the summer season. Kinda cheesy, kinda awesome, and a whole lotta ass kicking from-you would guess it-a strong female lead and her two sidekicks (who happen to be brothers). There was something about it, not quite Firefly or Battlestar, but something a little in between. There were a few so-so episodes but they more than made up for it with an awesome finale. Check it out.
