I've been watching Vikings the past couple of nights. There's just something so different, so foreign to it. I'm not sure if other people feel that way about it, but I rather enjoy it. Lagertha, of course, is my favorite. I was scrolling through Pinterest just browsing-then I saw this-
I... am not sure what to say. I sure hope disloyalty is something she was aiming for when she made this meme because it makes absolutely zero sense. Yeah, sexy viking men. Rollo betrayed his brother multiple times (and was disloyal to his partner more times than can be counted), Kalf stabbed Lagertha in the back and took her earldom, and freaking Ragnar is like a violent manic child that likes to make odd faces every other scene (not that it isn't appreciated). This is not exactly the pinnacle of male character here.
Although props to Bjorn for growing a spine this season-I think he's ready to start tearing stuff up for real now.
Athelstan, EVERYONE's moral compass is gone now, so Ragnar is on the brink of coming apart without a genuine friend to confide in.
No Yidu doesn't count, she's playing another game. How does she know Frankish and Norse?
Rollo undeservedly has found peace, a perfectly feisty wife that suits him, and is once again set up to betray his brother.
Freaking Aslaug. I have no sympathy for her. She made her bed. It's no wonder Rangnar is in constant regret over leaving Lagertha, who was a wonderful mother and warrior. Freaking hate her.
